The venue will once again host this must see event for any true musical theatre lover, featuring the most famous tunes from all major rock shows in the last 50 years. Directed and devised by Hugh Wooldridge, the production will count on a A-list cast including world-renowned actors such as Adam Pascal, Kerry Ellis and Christian Lund. With musical direction by Stuart Morley and Kevin Amos, the concert will collaborate with a charitable cause which provides fun and entertainment to seriously ill children in hospitals and hospices across the UK.

It’s been finally announced that The Best of Rock Musicals will return to one of London’s most iconic venues by the beginning of summer. With a repertoire that goes from all times classics such as Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita to contemporary pieces like Dear Evan Hansen, the concert will once again offer support for a charital cause – this time collaborating with The Starlight Children’s Foundation, which provides fun, laughter and entertainment to seriously ill children in hospitals and hospices across the UK, apart from brightening their lives by providing wishes-of-a-lifetime.
With musical direction by Stuart Morley (We Will Rock You, Big, and Only Fools and Horses) and Kevin Amos (Jesus Christ Superstar) and coreographies by Kevan Allen (Jesus Christ Superstar), the concert will feature an A-list cast from all around the world, including Adam Pascal (Rent); Kristina Love (Tina), Sabrina Weckerlin (Wicked), Elvie Ellis (The Little Shop of Horrors), Christian Lund (Phantom of the Opera), David Michael Johnson (Jesus Christ Superstar); and London’s Kerry Ellis (Wicked), Ricardo Afonso (Jesus Christ Superstar), Patrick Smyth (Strictly Come Dancing) and Debbie Kurup (The Prince of Egypt), all of them accompanied by the West End Chorus and the City of London Philharmonic AllStars.“This event is a must for all who love rock musicals and musical theatre”, says director and creator of the show Hugh Wooldridge. “Come along again on our 21st birthday and join in the fun and support this most splendid charity, whilst raising the roof of the Eventim Apollo, Hammersmith.”
