The show has confirmed its full cast for this upcoming production, which will be stopping all around the UK and Ireland from early September until next year. Based on the classic 2000s film starring Jack Black, the plot centers around a failed aspiring rockstar, who will find his “well-behaved” students from a prestigious school have all the potential to become the real stars.

Andrew Lloyd Webber’s guitar-shredding, bass-slapping, mind-blowing show is hitting the road in less than a month! School of Rock has just confirmed its full cast for its first-ever tour, which will extend until next year with stops both in Ireland and the UK.
Based on the iconic 2000s film starring Jack Black, the show tells the hilarious story of Dewey Finn, a failed wannabe music star who ends up as a substitute teacher at a prestigious prep school. However, he will soon unveil the undiscovered rock-and-rolling spirit dwelling within his straight-A students. Led by Jake Sharp in the role of Finn (a part he had already played in the West End production), the cast includes Rebecca Lock as Rosalie Mullins, Matthew Rowland as Ned Schneebly and Nadia Violet Johnson as Patty Di Marco. The rest of adult performers are Ryan Bearpark, James Bisp, Joanna O’Hare, Samuel Haughton, Tom Hext, Harveen Mann, Richard Morse, Annell Odartey, Amy Oxley, Helena Pipe, Michaela Powell, Richard Vorster and Craig Watson.
With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Glenn Slater (Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Sister Act), the creative team includes Julian Fellowes as the bookwriter and Laurence Connor (Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat, London Palladium 2019) as the director. The rest of creatives include choreography by JoAnn M Hunter, set and costume designs by Anna Louizos, lighting design by Natasha Katz, sound design by Mick Potter and music supervision by John Rigby.
