Callum Scott Howells and Madeline Brewer to star in ‘Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club’ from October

The show welcomes its third round of leads, along with new cast additions, who will be performing until the end of January next year. A new adaptation of Kander and Ebb’s Broadway classic, the production is played in a fully transformed venue, which allows the audience to be immerse in the musical’s universe from the very moment they enter the theatre.

Willkommen, bienvenue, welcome… to the stage family of the hottest musical in West End’s last season. The new immersive London production of Cabaret, renamed as Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, keeps adding stars to its cast list. After bringing in acclaimed actors Fra Fee and Amy Lennox to replace the original leads, the show will be soon opening its doors to its third round of protagonists, this time portrayed by BAFTA nominee Callum Scott Howells, best known for his role as Colin in Channel 4’s smash hit It’s A Sin, and Emmy Award nominee Madeline Brewer (Hulu’s drama The Handmaid’s Tale).

“I can’t wait to work with the incredible team and company, and follow on from two actors who I hugely respect and admire”, said Callum today, who will be playing the Emcee. “I feel very lucky and excited to be taking on such an iconic role within this widely celebrated and unique production. It’s going to be a ride.” On her side, Madeline, who will step in as Sally Bowles, has stated: “Rebecca’s vision is the most magical and emotional and exciting Cabaret I’ve ever seen. It’s a Sally and a Kit Kat Club so thrillingly fun and humbly prescient. I’m beyond honored to be invited to the party.”

Also joining the cast will be Sid Sagar as ‘Cliff Bradshaw’, Danny Mahoney as ‘Ernst Ludwig’ and Michelle Bishop as ‘Fraulein Kost’. Vivien Parry and Richard Katz continue to play ‘Fraulein Schneider’ and ‘Herr Schultz’, respectively. Directed by Rebecca Frecknall, this take on Kander and Ebb’s classic is done in the completely refurbished and transformed Playhouse Theatre, which allows the audience to explore the show’s universe before the actual musical commences. With set and costume design by Tom Scutt, the creative credits also include choreography by Julia Cheng and musical direction by Ben Ferguson, among others.

Both Callum and Madeline will be performing at Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club from October 3rd to January 28th. Tickets are available on the following link.
