Full cast and new company pictures released for ‘Wicked’ UK & Ireland tour

The show will begin performances in December for a run extending until 2025. Featuring music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, the piece tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz – having become one of the most successful and performed musicals in the world.

Good news! They’re here! The cast from the show is here! The wickedest show that ever was, the… You catch my drift. But fans of the most thrillifying musical in the land can start making arrangements for what’s about to drop in. Today, producers of the new 2023-2025 UK and Ireland tour of Wicked have announced the whole cast, which will be led by Sarah O’ Connor as Glinda and Laura Pick as Elphaba, apart from a new set of pictures featuring the all of the lead members of the company.

“As we embark on this third tour of cities in England, Scotland, Wales, and the Republic of Ireland, we’re delighted to announce a truly stellar cast of 33, who form part of the 100+ company that will be delivering all the spectacle and magic of this gigantic production on stage and behind the scenes”, says producer Michael McCabe. The cast will be completed by Carl Man (Fiyero), Donna Berlin (Madame Morrible), Simeon Truby (The Wizard and Doctor Dillamond), Jed Berry (Boq), Megan Gardiner (Nessarose), Casey Al-Shaqsy (Standby for Elphaba), among many others.

One of the most successful musicals in History, the show tells the untold story of the witches of Oz and how their paths crossed as one would become Glinda, The Good while the other would turn into The Wicked Witch of the West. With music and lyrics by Academy Award-winning composer Stephen Schwartz and book by Winnie Holzman, the piece has received over 100 major international prizes, with Joe Mantello’s (director) production been performed in over 130 cities in 16 countries.

The 2023-2025 Wicked tour opens at the Edinburgh Playhouse on 7 December 2023, to later continue in Birmingham, Bradford, Southampton, Liverpool, Dublin, Sunderland, Cardiff, and Manchester. Tickets are available on the following link.
